My Daily Vitamins

Every day I try to get most of my minerals and vitamins through my nutrition, however I am also a big believer in vitamin supplements especially during the winter when it becomes harder to get all the nutrients we need. There are many opinions in regards to vitamin supplements – some love them, some don’t. Me? – Well I belive in doing everything you can to support your body’s immune system and if that means popping a few pills daily, well then so be it! I can see no harm of supplementing your diet with vitamins and minerals, basically just gives your immune system the extra boost to fight off diseases. I do however know of the negative effects when not getting enough daily vitamins and minerals and they can be fatal! I personally take about ten pills a day and while it might seem like a lot it litterally takes about two seconds and then I know I am covered for the day.. Of course I then focus on also getting a lot of healthy nutrion and lots of alkalized water throughout the day. Here are the vitamins and minerals which I believe everyone should focus on.

VitaUltra: A great multivitamin to supplement your daily diet. Contains vitamin A, B, C, D, and E, calcium, magnesium, zinc, selenium and many more minerals and herbs, plus the added bonus of Alpha lipoic acid. The benefits of taking a daily multivitamin are substantial.

Zinc: The health benefits of Zinc include proper functioning of immune system, digestion, control of diabetes, improves stress levels, energy metabolism, acne and wounds healing. Its also good for fertility and pregnancy, hair care, eczema, weight loss, night blindness, cold, eye care, appetite loss and many other factors are included as health benefits of zinc.

B100: Vitamin B-100, also known as B complex, is a blend of B vitamins. According to the American Cancer Society, vitamin B complex are essential nutrients that aid in growth and development. Great for stress, dementia, heart disease, birth defects and energy.

Vitamin C: promotes healing of all body cells, essential for building collagen, helps prevent cancer and heart disease, detoxifies the body, supports the good bacteria in your gut, kills candida, bacteria, fungi, viruses, and parasites, prevents hardening of the arteries, neutralizes harmful environmental and bacterial toxins, protects us from pollution and dangerous pesticides, destroys free radicals, combats stress, acts as an antidepressant, removes heavy metals like mercury and lead & lowers high cholesterol.

Vitamin D 3: Very important especially during the winter – helps maintain your calcium balance, aids your cell differentiation, boost your immunity, plays a role in insulin secretion, blood pressure regulation and according to the National Institutes of Health, vitamin D may play an important role in the following diseases: Cancer, Alzheimer’s, Osteoporosis, Diabetes, Multiple Sclerosis and Rheumatoid Arthritis and Hypertension (High Blood Pressure.)

MultiOmega 3-6-9: Slows down the aging process, stabilizes and strengthens cell membranes and reduces risk of heart disease. Reduces cholesterol levels, lowers blood pressure, promotes a healthier cardiovascular system, helps alleviate joint paint and stiffness and reduces chance of heart attack by reducing blood triglycerides. An extra bonus – helps burn stubborn stomach fat.

At last but not least…..B12: Super important supplement especially for vegans and vegetarians, however everyone should supplement their diet with B12 – It is needed to convert carbohydrates into glucose in the body thus leading to energy production and a decrease in fatigue and lethargy in the body. It furthermore helps in healthy regulation of the nervous system, reducing depression, stress, and brain shrinkage. It also helps maintain a healthy digestive system. Vitamin B12 also protects against heart disease by curbing and improving unhealthy cholesterol levels, protecting against stroke, and high blood pressure. It is also essential for healthy skin, hair, and nails. It helps in cell reproduction and constant renewal of the skin. Most importantly Vitamin B12 helps protect against cancers including breast, colon, lung, and prostrate cancer.

Yes you guys, it might sound like a lot but our health is our most important asset and as I mentioned earlier it takes literally two seconds!!! However, if you are super lazy or low on cash focus on getting VitaUltra, Vitamin D, B12 and MultiOmega 3-6-9. I recommend taking vitamin C and VitaUltra in the morning and the rest at night, as the vitamins store better in your body during the night due to the limited toilet visits while you sleep. Purchase your vitamins at http://www.vitaviva.com/ - our vitamins are not available over the counter as they are much stronger than the usual vitamins you buy at your local supermarket, pharmacy or health store (basically useless if you ask me.. ). Order today and have them delivered within 3-4 days.

LOVE & HEALTH,

MELISSA

Heyy.

Hej!

      Love & Health, Melissa
